Local Angling Regulations for 2007 (rivers & streams).

In accordance with the Wild Fish Management Policy and the Endangered Species Act, angling regulations are in place for all flowing waters in the following sections of these watersheds:

  1. Clackamas River & tributaries up stream from North Fork Dam.

  2. Hood River & tributaries up stream from Power Dale Dam (except West Fork which is closed entire year).

  3. Sandy River & tributaries up stream from Marmot Dam .

Open season: Saturday, May 26 - Wednesday, October 31

Catch and Release only: No fish of any specie may be killed from any streams.

No Bait: Artificial lures and flies only may be used.

Wild Fish Only: No hatchery fish are planted in any of the streams in the listed sections.

Please use barbless hooks to increase the survival of released fish.

All "drive-to" Cascade Mountain lakes are regularly stocked with catchable trout.
