| Want even more power, accuracy and distance from your high-performance fly rod? After extensive testing and field research, Sage created some unique fly lines designed to help you get the most out of your time on the water. Each line features one of their proprietary taper and is precisely formulated with a weight-specific, balanced loading system. In other words, they didn’t just develop a taper and make the three-weight a smaller version of say, the eight-weight, like a lot of off-the-shelf lines. Instead, Sage designed each size of a given line series individually, from the ground up, to optimize the characteristics of a specific rod weight. These "customized" lines all share easy-shooting, high-floating, self-lubricating polymer coatings and a level of casting and fishing enhancement you have to experience to believe. |

This
is, quite simply, one of the finest all-around floating line we have
ever fished. Sage's proprietary Taper design and balanced loading
system allows you to cast farther and more accurately across a wide
range of applications. They seem to have the ability to stay
cleaner than many competitive lines and the thus shoot smoother and
further and float higher. These lines enhance the performance of
faster action rods such as: Sage Z-AXIS & VT2, C. F. Burkheimer, T&T Helix & Horizon, G. Loomis GLX, TFO TiCr & TiCrX and Winston B2X Series. |

Because Sage couldn't find a saltwater line they were satisfied with, they built one from scratch. Featuring a braided monofilament core and an exclusive saltwater Taper II formula, Equator Taper II lines provide the stiffness, power and accuracy you need, even in hot, tropical conditions. Thanks to Sage's special saltwater coating, these lines shoot easily, float high and resist the corrosive effects of salt and sun. Best of all we found that these new lines resist the collection of salt residue that slow lines down. We fished a couple of days between line cleanings with no change in line speed. |
