This ten inch long crinkly nylon that has replaced bucktail and other natural hairs for many saltwater and larger freshwater flies. This material is easy to work with, is durable and translucent. Although Unique Hair can mimic many natural natural appendages, such as legs, tails and feelers, it is most popular for tying medium-size saltwater streamers, and seems most effective in lengths from 3" to 7". It is the predominant material used in the assembly of the popular Mark's Sardina saltwater fly.
