May Fly and Small Stone Fly Nymphs

Large may fly nymphs and small stone fly nymphs live in mixed populations in many river. They can look fairly similar to each other and often one fly pattern can look like both. The flies listed below are your day-in and day-out, bread and butter searching patterns. All are weighted and are usually dead drift. Often these flies are fished in tandem with a split shot or twist-on sinker to keep them right on the bottom.
