Alf Tarpon Fly

At times Anchovy type bait fish can be thickly massed along the edges of mangroves. Sometimes Tarpon will scoop up dozens of of these small fish with one swipe of their bucket shaped mouths. Rarely can a Tarpon feeding in this manner resist a crippled bait fish, especially if it just happens to land in front of its nose while it patrols the edge of the bait school.
