Bait Fish Flies, Epoxy Heads by Mark Stensland |

These patterns are the creation of Mark Stensland. He grew up fishing the coastline of Alaska and Oregon and participated for several years gathering data for the Alaska "Sea Grant" Program. His strong background in biology and keen observation of marine baitfish led to this exciting series of salt-water streamers. They contain the supple hues of marine bait fish, have near perfect silhouettes and a gentle swimming action; all key elements that make game fish strike. These flies also have a perfect sink rate to drop gently through the surface and remain suspended at nearly any retrieve rate. |
