Spey Flies in-stock, no sales tax - $50 orders ship free in USA.
The name "Spey Fly" comes from the origin of this style on the Spey River
in Northern Scotland. In the early 1800's local Scottish anglers started
using flies dressed with low set wings and long flowing palmered hackles.
These are working flies, but all would look good in a shadow box for display in your home. They are productive patterns for Winter and Summer Steelhead and Atlantic Salmon. All are hackled with select spey marabou for maximum life like action.
A somber, unobtrusive pattern of low water summer flows when fish are spooky. A classic favorite.
