Hemingway Caddis The Hemingway Caddis was first tied by shop owner and fly fishing guide, Mike Lawson and named after Jack Hemingway, son of writer Ernest Hemingway. After nearly forty years this is still one of the best dry fly patterns to to fool a picky trout. This fly pattern is tied with section of duck wing quill laid flat over the body to simulate the tent syle win of a caddis at rest. |
