| The following patterns are tied slower streams and lakes. These kinds of places often harbor picky, selective fish, which are feeding in water with that has a clear window vision through the surface. Each of the patterns listed here, has a low, narrow silhouette; just like the real caddis flies they represent. The emphasis in fly design has been shifted from flotation to realism. Because of this, some patterns are tied from materials, which are more water absorbent and are less durable traditional "hair-wing" caddis patterns. For this reason we suggest that you save them for special situations; for fish which you know are too fussy to be taken on less realistic flies....Or buy them in quantity and be prepared to rotate them as they get water-logged. |

Caddis, Tan The Tan C.D.C. Caddis is made to float very lightly on the water. It may be fished under tension when representing caddis which hatch and instead of flying, walk to the bank. |
