Wading belts perform a number of comforting functions.  They help to keep big volumes of water from running into your waders if you take a dunk. They also support your back while streamlining your appearance.  A wading belt is a good place to store and organize tools; such as knives and pliers.  Large tools are handier and less obtrusive on your belt than in a vest. When selecting a wading belt, there are a number of features to contemplate. Simple is often good.  On a simple belt such as the Simms Web and Neoprene Belts there is nothing to wrap a fly line coil on.  Adding a

With its comfortable design and fishpond signature webbing accents, the Rio Grande adds an extra measure of protection and style to your waders. The webbing accents also serve as attachment points for your personal tools and accessories.  This wide belt gives added lumbar support.
