Mary Ann Dozer

Mary Ann Dozer’s first fly fishing experience was in 1993 in Yellowstone Park. She has been an avid fly fisher since then. Mary Ann has fished extensively across the West. Mary Ann’s love of fly casting was ignited in 2002 when she first observed a Certified Casting Instructor. At that time, she made a personal commitment to master fly casting as an art and to teach her passion to others. She has spent countless hours on her own and with other master fly casters perfecting her casting technique. For as much time as she is building her casting skills she also builds her fishing skills via books, classes and time on-the-water. She loves to teach others to fly fish whether that is in a class or out on the water guiding. She guides on the Salmon River in Idaho and locally on the McKenzie River. She also teaches fly fishing classes at her local fly shop.
