Recent Pictures of Our Waters
We all have our fish stories.  Some of us document them.  Last up-dated 10/24/00

"Games don't always get better when they get easier.  Hard games make us stronger
....especially when we're laughing about it!"

Fog in the rim rocks.  The sun lights the top of the canyon.  We are immersed in the inky gloom of the canyon floor. There is magic in the air. 10/27

The magic continues as George Hale proves that the grease line presentation is always effective in slick water. 10/27

Summer steelhead are the elite fish of the Pacific Northwest.  This one resisted coming to the hand to no avail.

George's second steely comes to the hand in the bright sun light.  It fell for a Black Stallion  presented with a sinking tip line.

"There are no bad places where wild game fish live".

David Hale battles an evening steelhead that slammed a Purple Wooly Bugger.

Steelhead will make you earn them.
But, that just makes them more precious when
you connect.
Steelhead
are more precious than diamonds.
And so are good fishing partners.
Thanks, MB

Up-date on Wee Burn Creek Restoration Project 04/11.

Where there once was naked sterile streambed now there are waving water plants and all of the critters that depend on them.
Wee Burn Creek

Wee Burn  Creek flows across Resort At The Mountain Golf Course.  For years it was dewatered and canalized.  Through careful planning and much hard work by local residents, Wee Burn Creek is on the mend and supports an increasingly healthy population of  wild Coho Salmon.  Click here for more good news!
