Many Oregon Lakes provide great fly fishing
opportunities, especially for anglers equipped with float tubes or pontoon
boats.
Action can continue throughout the year but is usually best early and late in
the season when water temperatures are in the comfort zone. Both public and private lakes are listed below. The private lakes are the best and most consistent we have fished. Some have huge trout. Public lakes are managed for harvest. They have much smaller fish, but are free, with no reservations needed. Oregon lakes are usually ice free from first of April until mid-November. During cool summers they can fish through the hottest months. Call for the latest details. |
