Alfadus 5
Barren, when it was discovered in 2651, Alfadus 5 underwent a bioseed
(Earth System 2 Bio) in 2702 and was scheduled for colonization in 2900.
The discovery of the Seven Sisters in Belt W5-112 nullified colonization
plans and resulted in Alfadus 5 being designated as the first Wilderness
Park Planet. With development restricted to 1% of the land mass, tourism
is the only industry. Accommodations are plentiful. However, the avid
fly fisherman will probably opt to avoid the resorts, lease a rec-skim
and head for the back country. In that case book well in advance.
The flora and fauna are remarkably Earth like, but beware, the Bengal
tiger abounds in the temperate regions and they have no fear of mankind.
If you dismount in the field your 3000 MFL's Master Guide is programed
to hover overhead (in alert mode), do not override this feature in tiger
country. As for the fish on Alfadus 5, almost all Earth species
have thrived. Most sites have not been fished since the original bioseed
